The Design
The A12s are a significant part of the muscle car history. Practically a factory built race car. These special ordered A12 performance package cars were only available mid year which is why they are referenced as 69 1/2s. They were all made on just 2 days- either March 29th or April 26th. The package included a performance built 440 with a 6-pack, ram air lift off hood, h.d. trans, 4.10 Dana rear, h.d. suspension, h.d. drum brakes, black steel rims with performance tires and more. Only 1,907 were built total ever. They were known as the Super Bee.
