The Nismo 400R is one of the rarest and most legendary GT-Rs ever built. Underneath the hood: the RB-X GT2 — Nismo's bored-out 2.8-liter version of the legendary RB26DETT, with strengthened internals, larger turbos, upgraded fuel system, custom intake, and uprated cooling — making 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, all sent through ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel drive.
Then the chassis got the full Nismo treatment: aggressive front and rear bumpers, that iconic ducktail rear spoiler, custom side skirts, beefed-up brakes, Bilstein suspension, and Nismo wheels. The 400R could hit 186 mph and run a sub-13-second quarter mile — making it faster than most exotic European supercars of the era, in 1995, from a Japanese sedan. Today, the surviving Nismo 400Rs are some of the most valuable and sought-after cars in the entire JDM collector world, with confirmed examples trading at multi-million-dollar prices.
