The Design
The Porsche 911 was introduced to the world in the fall of 1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It marked a new direction for Porsche. The 911 was larger, faster, and more capable than the 356 which it replaced. Its design language continues through all the subsequent 911s and is one of the most iconic in automotive history.
